The biggest event of the past few weeks was Elton's surgery. He did wonderfully and seems to be recovering well. He will have stitches for one more week, so he is supposed to be restricted to "quiet play" which has not been going well since he has all of his energy back! Jon and I are both so happy with how he has done. The surgery and hospital stay weren't easy, but he was a pro! You can see from the pictures he was not interested in laying in his bed although he was attached the lots of cords so couldn't get too far. On the second day at the hospital he was trying to talk and wave to the nurses in the hallway to get some extra attention!
Here are a few pictures from the hospital:
Here is his incision yesterday (scroll down quick if you don't want to look)
Prior to his surgery Elton got a chance to meet some relatives for the first time.

This weekend he celebrated Arlington's Town and Country Days. He attended the Miss Arlington Coronation, Breakfast on the Farm, and a little bit of the Newlywed Game. Sunday Elton attended his first parade! Here he is watching intently
