Crabby Jacque

Well this job isn’t easy. Of course I already knew it wasn’t going to be a piece of cake. But this quarter I have a class my cooperating teachers love to tell me is great for me, a good experience. Well I would rather not have this experience. The class is full of immature obnoxious boys who don’t listen can’t be quiet but can defiantly talk back!

This week one student asked me why I was so crabby. I choose not to acknowledge his question, since he was the reason for my crabbiness. I have been called crabby for years by my family; they think it is fun to get an easy reaction out of me, apparently. Usually I am not even crabby, but hearing it then makes me crabby. Anyway, it was pretty annoying to hear it from a student. Oh well, this class isn’t going to like me, just like I am not really enjoying them. So I guess I will have to keep being crabby to get anything done!

By the way keyboarding is very easy to teach, I like it a lot and no one talks back they just sit quietly and type!

Easter

Last weekend Jon and I hosted Easter at our apartment. Due to a large guest list we rented out the party room for the festivities. We had a today of 12 people including ourselves and it was a lot of work. Luckily we had lots of help from family to get everything done and we ended up with tons of leftovers!! It turned out really well in the end and everyone seemed to have a pretty good time.
Here are a few pics from Easter as well as the Saturday before when we went to Como Park to the conservatory. More pics found at my Yahoo site. Check them out!

Weekend Trip-NC

Jon and I spent last weekend in Greensboro, NC visiting Jon’s sister Heather and Becci. After some stress dealing with flight issues we were happy to arrive late Friday night. We stopped at Sonic for a cherrylimade and some food before heading off to bed.
Saturday we slept in a bit then took their dog, Ernie to the dog park. We also checked out a shopping outlet in Burlington and ate a local fast food chain, Cookout. Saturday evening we went to the opening game of the Revolution Indoor Football team. It was a lot of fun, very entertaining! I liked the cheerleaders, the revolutionettes. Sunday we took a trip to Lexington to the Childers winery where we ate lunch and tasted wine. Sunday evening Heather and Becci cooked diner for us and we relaxed. Then Monday morning we got up extra early and headed to the airport.
It was a quick weekend, but a lot of fun! It was really nice to get away and enjoy the warm weather. Unfortunately we had to come back to MN and get snow!
Here are a few pics from the trip...
