Camping

This past weekend Jon and I went camping with his parents in Wisconsin. It was a lot of fun and we are now both really tired! The campground is located on a bike trail, so Saturday we went for a ride. We rode our bikes 12 miles, we did stop a few times for a break. The trail also contains some old railroad tunnels, which was interesting and dark to walk through. After the bike ride I was pretty tired and sore, but we did make it back! The weather was great and we even got to check out the pool and of course talk wedding plans!

Two More Days

Well my summer is coming quickly to an end. As much as I had trouble finding ways to fills may days in the middle of my break, I will really miss having the free time. Wednesday is my first official full day of teacher workshops. I am excited to get started, but am realistic that I will have my hands full getting my feet wet and preparing for my classes.
So Monday and Tuesday I will use to the fullest to....
Relax, Shop, Watch TV, Sleep In, and continue with Wedding Plans

Jon's Birthday

Last Friday Jon turned 27 and we had a little gathering (party!). I included a pic of the cake I made and Jon blowing out his candles.
It was a really fun evening and we actually had a pretty full apartment for a while. Guest included: Joe, Sadie, Fox, Abe, Erin, Mike, Juliet and of course Jon and I.

It took a while for me to put some pictures up since I am actually busy now. I have been taking a class about effective teaching, required by my new job. And of course started trying to plan for a wedding!!
I also tried to take pictures of my ring, but with no luck. Everything just looks blurry (since it is so shiny) So for now everyone will have to take my work for it, it is beautiful and I love it!
