Zoo and a Wedding

We are busy having some end of summer fun!  Last weekend we took a little family trip to the Minnesota Zoo.  Elton enjoyed the animals, walking around, playing with the goats and playing in the water!  This weekend we attended a wedding on some friends of ours in Arlington.  It was a beautiful wedding and I was most impressed that Elton sat through it as well as he did.  But the reception was where he had a blast.  It was held at the fair grounds and included horse carriage rides.  One of Elton's babysitters was the made of honor so he enjoyed her company as well.  He also made friends with the flower girl and was the first one on the dance floor!  I go back to work on Monday and Elton is back to daycare full-time.  But we are looking forward to celebrating his 2nd birthday this week and a party next weekend.

Wedding at the Fair Grounds

Training Camp

We attended Vikings training camp in Mankato last weekend.  It was only the second day of practice so not much to see on the field other than a walk-through.  There was lots of kid friendly activities and Elton had a blast.

Elton has been attending Story Hour in town this summer.  Last week was the last day and there was a special parade for the kids to walk up and down Main Street and collect a bunch of treats from local businesses.  Elton had a really good time, especially since his daycare friends were also there.  Here he is sitting in the library with his friends.
