Stress is starting to take a toll! As if planning a wedding isn’t enough to deal with, I have been attempting some job hunting too. It would be nice to have a full-time job for next year, we’ll see. I hate interviews (who likes them) and it is hard making choices about the future. I have a hard enough time making choices about to wear to work each day. I kinda wish I could just put off job hunting until after the wedding, but then I may miss my opportunities at some open jobs.
Yesterday one of the deans at school stopped me in the hall to talk about my wedding shower at work. I had assumed there wouldn’t be one since… well no one knows me. But she said since it is getting so close to the end of the year, they want to do it in September and asked if I thought that was ok. Obviously I said yes, but who knows if I will actually be here in September for a shower? So no work shower, probably for the best, since it may have been awkward.
I do have a shower coming up in Sauk Centre in a couple weeks and that should be fun! Yay Pampered Chef!
On other good news, I am almost done with my Masters Degree from UofM. I have two more papers to write and one more 2.5 hour class to attend! That will be a relief to get over with. Then I can focus more time and getting organized down to the last detail for the wedding! I hope everyone who is involved in the wedding realizes I may be a bit particular since I have spent so much time and effort on the wedding plans!
